Aims of NCC


  • To develop qualities of character, courage, comradeship, discipline, leadership,, secular outlook, spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youth to make them useful citizens


    To create a human resource of organised trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life including the Armed forces and be always available for the service of the nation.


Activities


  • The cadets of 2/2 Coy have actively participated in the following events:


    Yoga day - The cadets take part every year in the yoga day celebration, held at Manekshaw Parade ground, where they learn the importance of yoga and it’s types.

    Anti-drug awareness rally – The cadets spread awareness about drug abuse by making posters and shouting out slogans.

    Lake cleaning – Under the guidance of DDG of Karnataka and Goa Directorate and Environmentalists, the cadets took part in lake cleaning at bommasandara.

    Voters day – Every year, awareness and importance of voting is spread by shouting out slogans and making posters, by the cadets.

    Swach Bharath Abhiyan – The cadets actively took part in cleaning cubbon park, and maintaining a clean environment.

    Tree plantation drive – Every year, each cadet plants a sapling near their surrounding, and spread awareness about planting trees.

    Personal Hygiene – The cadets made posters and shouted slogans, while maintaining the SOP measures and spread awareness among the people about personal hygiene.

    Blood donation – Most of the cadets donated blood, so as to save lives.

    Pulse polio – The cadets went along with doctors to ensure that everyone got their polio drops, so that it is eradicated in our nation.

    Cyclothon – Few of our cadets took part in Cross Country Cycling Marathon.

    Disaster management – The cadets attended the disaster management training and learnt the protocols to be followed during any disasters or calamities.

    COVID-19 Precautionary Training – All the cadets completed the online covid-19 precautionary training during lockdown and learnt how to be safe.
