    •  Training and Placement Cell (TPC) of Nrupathunga University

  • Nrupathunga University (NU) has paved its way from an Intermediate College in 1921 to its present University status (2020). This journey of Nrupathunga University has witnessed many scientists, civil servants, artists, administrators, politicians, educationists and entrepreneurs being moulded. Conducive ambience of this divine university, veteran faculty, well-planned curriculum, joyful campus life, excellent placements have made the journey successful. A well-established placement cell is one of its feathers in the crown. The main objective of the placement cell is to cater to the needs of all the category of the students. Some aspire to crack the civil service examinations IAS, IPS, IFS, KAS and Banking Examinations, some students progress towards higher education, say UG to PG and PG to Research and many of them get into jobs and some aspire to be entrepreneurs. The placement cell helps them to equip all the necessary skills required to reach their respective goals. With adequate training and support, students enhance their skills and understand how to showcase their abilities in the best possible ways.

    The Placement cell accentuates on tough trainings, subjecting the students from the beginning of their journey in the first year itself, to help them set their respective goals and achieve them. To provide a strong professional career, the T & P Cell conducts regular pre-placement training sessions to equip students with related skills in their respective fields. The cell offers training programs to students to develop various significant required skills but also facilitates the process of recruitment for all the eligible students. For better trainings, the cell liaisons with the industries and NGOs.     • Goal setting and Career Guidance

  • The T & P cell organizes various workshops in online and offline mode on Goal setting and Career Guidance for the incoming students to catch them young. The cell systematizes seminars/webinars to create awareness and orient them towards the various careers options and help them to set their goal and choose the suitable career depending on their potential skills.

    • Field Visits to Industries

  • To impart the aptitude skills and soft skills in the organization, the placement cell organizes sessions on analytical, logical, verbal and critical reasoning, problem solving and time management skills along with communicative English verbal and language compliance.

    • Life skills and communicative skills training

  • The students are felicitated with field visits to companies to educate them with the working experience and team building with hands-on sessions along with employers.

    • Group Discussions / Debates

  • The Cell conducts multiple rounds of mock group discussions to build confidence, communications skills, teamwork and enhance the technical knowledge of the subject along with current affairs.

    • Overall Personality Development

  • This is one of the most crucial aspects of training sessions, the cell organizes a series of tests and workshops to help students discover their potential and analyse their short comings . The cell trains students to deal with challenging situations at work and motivates them by conducting various workshops on how to increase their self-esteem.

    • Resume and cover letter writing

  • The cover letter and the resume can create the best first impression on a potential employer. The cell trains you in creating a well organized resume which will highlight your qualifications, education, employment history, certifications, technical skills and any additional skills that match with the job profile.

    • Personal interview / Mock interviews

  • The final selection depends on the personal interview round, the cell helps with the preparation, instructs and coaches students on required interview skills which are related to dress code, confidence, creativity, ability to react and respond and handle stressful situations.
  • Nrupathunga University has an all-inclusive placement program which commences in the first semesters and engages students with preplacement training to make them industry- ready for the corporate world. With its exclusive in-house soft skills training program taught by experts, the cell helps students develop capabilities and competencies enabling the students to excel in a multitude of career builders.

  • Nrupathunga University has MoUs with various Companies like Cognizant, Infosys, Wipro, GlobalEdge and for Industries for Placement Drives and NU has MoUs with NGOs like RUDSETi, UNNATI, UJWALA, AISHWARYA, AVIRATHA and other Training Institutes for Trainings and better placements.
